Dr. Ann’s Healthy Hummus

Serves 8-10

Hummus is delicious, healthy, easy to make and pleasantly filling.


  • 1 15-oz can of garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, crushed and peeled
  • 1/3-cup tahini
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3-5 tbsp of lemon juice (suit your own taste)
  • ¼ cup water


Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor (I use my bullet). Blend to desired consistency. Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 7 days.
