Dr. Ann’s Super Delicious Swiss Chard + Corn Sauté

Serves 4-6

This vitality-boosting side dish is not only a HEALTHY STARCH it's economical and only takes minutes to throw together. Plus, it's absolutely delicious. The whole family will love it!


  • 1 bunch Swiss chard, stripped and chopped
  • 1 medium sweet onion, chopped
  • 1 bunch scallions (with greens), chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped finely
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1.5 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 can (15oz.) corn, rinsed (organic best)
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground pepper to taste


Heat olive oil in a medium-size heavy skillet over medium heat. Add onions and scallions. Cook until soft, about 3 minutes.

Add paprika, cumin, and garlic. Stir continuously for 1 minute.

Add Swiss chard and continue stirring over medium heat until the leaves are soft about 3-4 minutes.

Add corn and stir until well-mixed. Serve hot!
