Easy Peasy Sauteed Kale

Serves 6

Kale is the healthiest food on the planet. This is a simple recipe that is great for those who want easy cooked greens that are tasty too.


  • 2 lbs. kale stems removed and chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp. EVOO

  • ¼ cup water


Heat EVOO in skillet over medium- high heat. Add kale and season to taste with salt. Cook for 4 minutes stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and add water and garlic. Cover skillet and continue cooking for 10 minutes. Season to taste with pepper.

 Feel free to add a splash of balsamic vinegar or soy sauce as needed for additional flavor.
