3 of Dr. Ann’s Favorite Mid-Afternoon Snacks

  1. The “crunchy trio” – An equal parts mixture of roasted peanuts (I love the deluxe Virginia-style), roasted edamame, and dried wasabi peas. I make my own mix and eat about ¼ cup with a big glass of water.
  2. Chocolate/banana yogurt. 1/2 cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt blended with 1 heaping tbs. of 100% cocoa powder, ½ smashed banana, and 1 teaspoon molasses (or whatever sweetener you prefer).
  3. A big organic carrot dipped in hummus (I love the convenient individual packages of Sabra brand.)
