Drinking coffee fits in beautifully with healthy living. That was the energizing conclusion from a massive review analysis that combined the data from 201 previously published studies looking at coffee consumption and health outcomes.

The sweet spot overall was around 3-5 cups (not mugs) a day. There was less evidence for decaf, but it did show benefits for some outcomes. The researchers remarked that other than during pregnancy and in women with a high risk of fractures, drinking coffee is safe and tied to numerous benefits for adults.
